Charles Berry Bascule Bridge gets new streetlight posts

Lorain’s Charles Berry Bascule Bridge has new street lights installed.
The week of May 4, a crew from Perram Electric Inc. of Wadsworth installed the new streetlight posts on the north side of the bridge over the Black River.
The new lights come as part of a major rehabilitation of the bridge, a $26.3 million project. The Ruhlin Co. and Perram Electric Inc. have joined to be the lead contractors on the job.
