Wellsville Conveyor System

This project was part of the Bulk Materials Operations at the Wellsville Intermodal Industrial Park dock located in Wellsville, Ohio. It included the construction and installation of the landside pile foundations with concrete caps. Also, included was the design, fabrication, delivery and installation of the conveyor steel support structure, the conveyor system (two new belt conveyors totaling 511 lineal feet), hopper with vibratory feeder and powered mechanical swivel chute and site electrical. Since the conveyor system spans over a portion of the Ohio River, all necessary precaution were taken to safely perform work over water in accordance with Federal, State and Local regulations. Additionally, since the conveyor system spans above active railroad tracks, all necessary precautions were taken to safety preform work over the railroad tracks in accordance with the railroad owner(s) and all Federal, State and Local regulations.
