Cleveland State University reopens historic Fenn Tower
October 9, 2026
An iconic piece of Cleveland State University’s campus is welcoming students back with a modern new look.
CSU leadership, staff, and community members gathered for a ribbon-cutting ceremony to celebrate the reopening of Fenn Tower following an $18 million overhaul.
Originally built in the 1930s, the historic tower now serves as home to 450 first-year students starting this fall semester. University leaders say the goal was to blend modern student housing needs with the building’s historic character.
